The Intelligent Friend - The newsletter about the AI-humans relationships, based only on scientific papers.
Dear readers, today there is big news. As
suggested in a reply to a note of mine, 'the world of newsletters has changed'. Therefore, I am not waiting to finally provide something I wanted to create some time ago: a premium version of my publication. I won't go long, don't worry. I must honestly say that the reception of this newsletter has received has far exceeded my expectations.I sincerely want to thank the Substack community: I have been in contact with some amazing people who write and say amazing things, like
or who are always ready to respond to ideas and comments. Because of this, and my desire to create more and more of a community, here is this great little novelty! But what will it be about? What you will find
So many of you have enjoyed the explanation of scientific theories that intersect various areas related to AI-human relationships. As you can imagine, I personally read the papers I talk about, and this is a fine job but one that I love to do. However, I know that not all of us have the time to read and find the papers and staying update.
That's why I present the “Nucleus” (every Wednesday), a weekly selection of 4 papers summarized in succulent short pieces to discover new scientific researches related to AI and GenAI (mainly related to relationships, consumer behaviour, human-AI 'performance' and much more). But there will be more than just papers: I will include special sections, such as...
…“The Author’s Opinion”. where I will try to get opinions from the authors of one of the weekly papers or other scientific personalities! Of course, I do not guarantee that this is something that is always possible, but I’ll try to do it every week! People are much happier to talk about their work than we think.
But there are not only papers and opinions, also newsletters and tools to try out, cool things to be cooler at dinner and much more.
“OK, but what about the price?” You may be wondering.
Very simple: the minimum on Substack: USD 5 per month.
I don't write on Substack to support myself economically. However, it would be really great personal recognition and everything I would earn initially would all go towards the growth of the newsletter.
Are you ready then? Well, not right now because...
...In addition to the Nucleus, paying subscribers will receive another benefit: you will be able to be part of an exclusive chat, called the Intelligent’s Friend’ “Society" (IFS).
I know that my readers are all super interesting people doing impressive things: researchers, managers, freelances or even retired people who are interested in particular topics. Therefore, in addition to being able to interact, I would like this chat to be a place where you can talk about your projects and, why not, find the partner for your next start-up, academic research, or your next book.
Do you have a newsletter you would like to propose to the members? Tell to the Society! Looking for someone interested in your AI kit? Talk about it freely (with kindness and enthusiasm, of course!). I would like it to be a sort of 'Soho House' where opinions and opportunities are discussed and exchanged. Nevertheless, unlike the Soho House, it doesn't cost more than 100 dollars per month, but... 5! (and you also get the Nucleus).
The Nucleus will come out every Wednesday. The “club” will, of course, always be 'open'. Tomorrow, however, you will have a first issue open to everyone, so that you can evaluate the format and maybe subscribe to it! P.S. You can of course already subscribe now, and join the club…
…Or, wait until tomorrow, evaluate and join for less than 20 cents a day. 💸
I look forward to hearing your opinions, see you tomorrow!
